Strategic Website Profits is a Blog about making money online…

On this Blog I will be talking about anything and everything that has anything to do with making money online.

The two main objectives of Strategic Website Profits are:

1. To provide cutting edge information (Both profitable programs and systems as well as how to generate interest and traffic for your websites) required to consistently make money on the internet and
2. To expose fraudulent scams not worthy of your time or money.

Most of the content on this Blog will be geared towards reviewing the monetization models of various websites, products and programs I’m either using myself or see others using.

About the Author

My name is Daniel and I am the primary author of this Blog. I’ve been marketing just about everything online since 2004 and have built authority websites and blogs in the bodybuilding, weight loss, gambling, fitness, sports, stock market and real estate market niches as well as many, many more websites and landing pages built primarily to promote affiliate products and generate revenue with contextual advertising.

As much as I like internet marketing, developing and monetizing my own websites as well as providing internet marketing services for small businesses is just one of the things that I do… I also own and operate a brick and mortar business in the disposable medical products industry.

I started my offline business back ion 2002 and long story short basically found myself short of cash flow within the first year due to extenuating circumstances…

I had a choice… I could either quit or I could find another way to fund my operation and pay my bills and I was personally already about $150K in the hole.

That’s when I turned to the internet…

At the outset I wasted a lot of time and money with get-rich-quick and make-money-online scams and ended up working every night delivering newspaper for a few years (it was the only time I could work since I had to operate my offline business during the day) and I really thought long and hard about quitting at that point (again)…  instead I just kept building websites and trying new things online and some things started to stick after awhile…

From that point on I did a little bit of everything on the internet to earn some cash… turns out I really like making money online and it’s one of those things that I’m just “passionate” about.

At first I started selling stuff on eBay and shortly thereafter I discovered drop-shipping and I rode that wave for a while. That’s actually when I got into internet marketing as well…

I started to build my own websites to sell the products I was drop-shipping and that’s when I stumbled into information marketing and affiliate marketing and I’ve been building websites ever since.

Along the way I also stumbled onto some Black Hat techniques that generated some quick bursts of nice income for me but ultimately ended up being pretty unstable.

Today I have a few hundred sites spread out all over the internet and most of my time is spent creating, updating, optimizing and marketing websites and managing my businesses.

I started this Blog to talk and communicate with other internet marketers about making money online, educate others as much as I can (to stay away from some of the bogus opportunities that I wasted my time with) and to work together with others to not just build profitable websites but profitable businesses.
