If you’re focused on building the types of sites you’re talking (high quality sites with unique content that you’re also going to take the time to SEO) about then I think there are much better ways to monetize the sites then with Adsense.

It does not take 1,000's of sites to earn a decent income with Adsense and blackhat is also not needed. It takes in depth keyword research, smart keyword selection, quality unique content, basic on-page SEO, stout off page SEO (link building etc.). It takes in depth keyword research, smart keyword selection, quality unique content, basic on-page SEO, stout off page SEO (link building etc.).
