John Reese Launches Traffic Jam

by SWP on February 21, 2008

John Reese, whose been living off of his Traffic Secrets fame for some time now, recently launched a beta version of Traffic Jam…

Traffic Jam touts itself as an information filter of sorts and uses several filters to weed through Blogs that are currently using the Blog Rush Widget.

I’ll say this much about the Blog Rush Network, when it was plagued mercilessly early on during it’s launch by spammers and black hatters John Reese did what I thought he wouldn’t do… he hired human screeners to manually approve all Blogs before they are accepted into the blog Rush network and he also had them go through all existing Blogs on the network.

I’ll also say that the Blog Rush widget didn’t really generate any traffic for any of the Blogs I had it on so I disabled it…

Traffic Jam looks like a Digg type site to me… the only problem I see with Traffic Jam is that it only pools data from Blog Rush and instead of using humans to vote on stories, Traffic Jam will use a friggin’ computer….

Brilliant!

I guess we’ll have to wait and see how popular Traffic Jam gets because I would have to say that all of John Reese’s projects lately have been flops, income.com, Blog Rush, and personally I’m not expecting too much from Traffic Jam.

As an Internet Marketer and a Blogger maybe Traffic Jam can be used to find information and Blogs that aren’t already prominently displayed on author bookmarking/sharing type sites???

I don’t know just tryin’ to find some positives ya know?
