John Reese will be launching his new Internet Marketing Advisor Webinar class tomorrow (you can check it out at: IMA) and I thought it interesting that both he and Andy Jenkins of StomperNet both launched their most recent products in a similar manner…
They both created buzz and generated excitement by releasing informative and controversial videos prior to releasing their products.
Rather then buy either of their products (not because I don’t think they’re good products but because I’m not in the market for them and I don’t have a need for them right now) I just sat back and watched how they released their products.
Some times that’s exactly how you pick up the really profitable strategies… not in those $97 eBooks… but just by watching what the top marketers are doing.
I watched how the guys over at StomperNet released video after video of some of the best search engine optimization content ever released on the ineternet and how they followed that act up by releasing free software and then a 40+ page guide to social media marketing. You can follow along on their Blog at Stomper Blog and pick up all the nice free content as well.
I then watched John Reese launch his product by releasing what I assume was supposed to be a controversial video…
The video was basically John Reese saying that the internet marketing/ make money online niche is one of thee most profitable markets on the internet…
WELL DUH!
The point is that he was using a video and he was trying to be controversial with the content in his video to warm people up for his IMA (internet marketing advisor) class.
Kudos to him anyhow for being one of the few internet marketing gurus (allegedly) to come out and say what we’ve all known for quite some time now… the real money is in the internet marketing/ how to make money online niche…
