The 3 biggest lies about making money online are #1 It’s easy, #2 You can do it in minutes and #3 Anyone can do it and getting honorable mention is “you can even do it in your pajamas”… OK so may be you can do it in your pajamas but
if you’re serious about making money online then you’ll discover like I have that it pays to take yourself and your business seriously.
First and foremost making money online is not easy. This is a lie propagated by make money online gurus because it makes it easier for them to sell you their garbage. The reality of making money online is that it takes a lot of work and it’ll be about 6 months to a year before you start to earn about a 2 thousand per month income.
Does that sound attractive?
Of course it doesn’t and that’s why the guys selling you those eBooks for $47 and $97 a pop have to lie to you! Seriously if you take a close look at most sales letters online for those garbage make money online eBooks you’ll see that on most of them all they’re trying to do is sell you a lottery ticket!
Anyone can do it… you’ll be a millionaire in no time… working only minutes a day… just come over here and rub this little lamp ok?
Biggest lie number 2 about making money online is you can do it in minutes a day… again this goes back to the whole lottery ticket mentality and basically what they’re selling you is a dream… a dream that you’ll one day be rich… will never have to work again… will never have to wake up early to an alarm clock and that one day you’ll be able to walk into your boss’ office and tell him to lick his finger and stick it up his ass!
You see how they get you?
Guys it’s happened to all of us…
Nobody likes to work… we all hate the daily grind… we all hate the rat race… and at the end of the day I think we all have this iota of hope that we cling to that one day we won’t have to do it anymore.
Isn’t that why we all go into business anyway?
So that one day we won’t have to work anymore but we’ll still have a nice passive income coming in?
And one day or one night it happens to all of us… basically we get caught with our pants down or we get caught in a vulnerable position…

A magic pill that will basically solve all or most of your worries and let’s face it guys you get caught when you’re vulnerable… and you hit the buy link for $97…
It takes time to make money online and the fact of the matter is that there is a learning curve to it. Anybody that tells you different is try to sell you something…
Biggest lie #3 about making money online is that anybody can do it.
Guys if anyone could do it you’d all be it at home chillin’ at the pad, grillin’ some carne asada, sippin’ on some coronas and making money online instead of slaving away in a cubicle from 9-5.
This isn’t for everybody guys.
I worked every single night and day delivering newspaper at night and working on my businesses during the day for three years until I got to a point where I didn’t have to “work” anymore…
You may not need that level of commitment but are you willing to do whatever it takes?
Most people I know if left at home for 8 hours a day would either screw around all day on the internet or plant their fat asses in front of their big TV’s and watch reruns of American Idol all day…
Again the make money online gurus tell you this because they want you to believe that making money online is easy and that you can do it too.
Making money online is a lot of repetitive work and it requires some discipline and it definitely isn’t for everybody…

And guys at end of the day, the biggest lie about making money online is the lie we make to ourselves… Are you willing to put in the time to learn this business and to do whatever it takes to succeed or are you still chasing that lottery ticket and hoping to be the next overnight success?

Your post sounds about right. It seems that those who are really successful at this game have a knack for super productivity. They’re able to spit out a lot work on a daily basis without even blinking an eye. I’m trying very hard to cultivate this ability.

To me it’s a matter of having a plan every single day… knowing exactly what you want to accomplish every single day and then getting it done.
And picking up tools that automate certain processes doesn’t hurt either…
