If you are building a website or a Blog and the primary purpose of that site is to make money via Adsense then there are essentially 2 requirements for that site to generate revenue for you provided you have sufficient traffic and are in a good niche for adsense:
#1 – The website or Blog you build has to be totally useless. A lot of internet marketers don’t get this and spend ungodly amounts of time creating a bad ass site that averages something absurd like 10 page views per visitor and then shoot themsleves in the foot by sticking some adsense on the sidebar where nobody is ever going to see it…
The first thing a web surfer is going to look at when he gets to your site is your content… and if you’re serving up content that answers the question that your web surfer was seeking the answers to (that’s why most people are on the net… they’re looking for info) then guess what?
That’s right, they’re not going to click on any of your ads!
They’re going to leave your site fully satisfied that you provided them with the information they were looking for.
Good for you… but how are you going to pay the bills?
If you want to make money with Google Adsense then your content better look like someone from a foreign country wrote it (no offense).
It better suck ass so bad somebody from a foreign country should be questioning if english is your first language!
I use a lot of PLR with sites I build for adsense and I don’t do much proofreading before I publish my posts either… like I said gobblygook.
If you want to make money with a site using Google Adsense you better realize that that site is for making money and you should keep your personality and all opinions out of that site.
Use other Blogs for that.
MFA sites are for making money and should be treated as such… post your crappy content that is designed to attract the search engines and wait for people to click your ads.
Leave your ego at the door!
People what you want is a ridiculously high bounce rate.
You want people showing up to your sites and then looking for a way out.
Something else you may want to try is designing your website so that it has a black background and gray lettering. This makes your website visitor have to strain to read your content and most people already know that this color scheme (gray lettering on a background) will eventually cause them a headache so they’ll be looking for a way out.
#2 Your Ads Have to be Prominently displayed and they have to be the only way out of your website for your visitors.
Ugly sites with ads in the most prominent positions make casual web surfers just want to leave your website as quick as possible… why not take advantage of this and give them an adsense ad to click on that may just have the info they’re still looking for?
Top left and right hand corners are usually the first 2 spots web surfers focus their eyes on so you should definitely have ads there.
From there you’ll have to play around with locations and different ad sizes but generally speaking I like to place a 300 x 250 block above posts and again after the post or a wide banner prominently displayed at the top of the website or Blog.
The key with Adsense is to not use any other form of advertising on the websites you plan on monetizing with Adsense and to not over do it with the Ads. There is such a thing as too much you know?
And there you have it…
You wanna make money with Adsense?
Build ugly sites that provide no value and are basically useless and the money will come.
